There has never been or will ever be a better tasting gum. I'm happy that there are others out there that remember! I grew up in Oak Ridge Tn (just outside knoxville) and i never found it at any local stores more than a couple of times. I chewed it everyday as a kid. Unfortunately, the manufacturer discontinued all flavors of Certs. They would love it. Fleer was acquired by Marvel Group in the early 1990's. The candy bars they make now are so small and do not taste as good. They may have been a Charms product, the company who makes Blowpops.. I got my chum gum at my friends grandmothers store, that had every peen candy that was ever made. The Chicago company was small. I'm 38yrs.old and only found it in Woolworth stores in the Chicago area.I can still taste that juicy soft flavor in my BUDS.Hope a manufactor can bring our good old CHUM GUM back!!!!!!
